Jeep India has launched a new, exclusive variant of the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition—offering a refined blend of American ruggedness and first-class luxury tailored for the Indian market. Priced at a premium of Rs 1.54 lakh over the fully-loaded Limited (O) variant, the Signature Edition introduces high-end features that elevate both comfort and technology.

Designed for discerning buyers seeking luxury and distinction, the new edition stands out with motorised side steps, integrated front and rear dash cams, and a dual 11.6-inch Android-based rear entertainment system. The entertainment package features high-resolution IPS panels, Cortex A55 2.0 GHz processors, built-in speakers, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Aux, and dual-screen control—delivering an executive-class in-cabin experience.

The fifth-generation Grand Cherokee is equipped with a single 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 272hp and 400Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which channels power to all four wheels through Jeep’s advanced four-wheel-drive system.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee rivals other premium large SUVs such as the Volvo XC90 Mercedes-Benz GLE, Range Rover Velar, BMW X5 and Audi Q7. The Grand Cherokee, GLE, X5, and Velar offer seating for five, the Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 can accommodate up to seven passengers.

Available in limited numbers, the Signature Edition will be offered at Jeep dealerships nationwide starting June 13 2025. The vehicle is positioned as a collector’s model, aimed at buyers who value distinctive road presence alongside Jeep’s 4x4 capabilities.
