Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Russian airbases, Moscow calls it 'terror strike'

Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on multiple Russian air bases, targeting strategic bombers and causing significant damage. The operation, code-named 'Spider Web', involved smuggling drones into Russia and launching them from trucks positioned near the bases. Ukraine claimed to have hit 41 Russian aircraft, including Tu-95 and Tu-22 strategic bombers, with the attack reaching targets up to 4,300 km inside Russian territory. This marks a notable escalation in Ukraine's strike capabilities. In response, massive traffic jams have been reported in Russia's Irkutsk region as police inspect every truck for possible drones intended for Russian warplanes. The programme explores the heightened security measures and the broader implications of Ukraine's drone warfare capabilities.
