2 killed as fire breaks out at Delhi residential building

Two people were killed after a fire broke out in Dilshad Garden area of New Delhi on Sunday night. The fire broke out at around 11.30 pm on Sunday night. Fire engines were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control.

According to fire brigade officials, they received a call regarding the fire at around 11.32 pm on Sunday night. They arrived and doused the flames.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire was caused due to the charging of e-rickshaws inside the building.

Two e-rickshaws and several motorcycles were gutted in the fire. Further investigations are on to ascertain the exact cause that led to the fire.
